Herb Questions
We used to include instructions with each order, however, we found that customers were still reaching out for instructions. As a result of this, we have published preparation instructions below:
How to Prepare your Loose Leaf Herbs (leaves, flowers, cut & sifted & thin stems):
Option 1:
- Add 1 full tablespoon of herbs to 2-3 cups of water & bring to a boil.- Turn off the stove and allow the herbs to steep for 15-20 minutes before drinking (the longer the herbs steep, the stronger it will be).
Option 2:
- Add 0.5-1 cup of herbs to a 16oz Mason Jar.
- Fill the jar with room temperature Spring/Distilled water and allow to steep overnight. The longer you allow the herbs to steep in the water, the stronger your brew will be.
Roots/Barks & Stems:
- Add 1 full cup of herbs to a gallon of water & simmer for 40-45 minutes.- Turn off stove and allow the herbs to steep for 2-4 hours before drinking (the longer the herbs steep, the stronger it will be).
*In order to avoid dehydration & headaches, please consume 1 gallon of Natural Spring Water daily, when consuming herbs & herbal supplements. Best results if consumed in conjunction with meat, dairy & sugar FREE eating habits. Once brewed, herbal tonics/teas can last up to 5 days if refrigerated and mixed daily. Key Lime can also be added as a preservative to extend the life of the brew.
Leaves and flowers: Each teaspoon of herbs can make up to 3 cups of tea.
Stems, Barks, and Root: Each teaspoon should make 3-5 cups of your drink, depending on how strong you desire for it to be.
Your used herbs can be stored in a small class jar/container or freezer bag and placed in the freezer for up to 60 days.
Place your herbs in a food-safe bag (Kraft bag) or glass jar and store it in a cool dark area. Herbs that are unexposed to moisture and sunlight can last for up to 1 year.
Seaweed can be stored the same way as unused herbs.
We recommend that you speak to a healthcare professional before starting any herbal regimes.
I wouldn’t recommend that all herbs be mixed, please consult a Licensed Master Herbalist or your healthcare professional before starting any herbal regimens.
If you are consuming herbs for daily maintenance, such as capsules containing Seamoss, Iron Ph, Lymphatic System or Anti- inflammatory; we recommend that you take them in the morning to get your day started with tons of energy and minerals to carry you throughout the day. Other capsules that are more specific such as; Kidney Liver can be taken with food at any time of the day.
There is more than one way to consume the herbs purchased in capsule and liquid form. You can open the capsules or add your liquid to food, smoothies, juice or water.

Shipping/Return Questions
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to receive returned items. If you accidentally place an order for an incorrect item, please notify us via email (info@honestherbstore.com) as soon as possible, as most of our orders are shipped within 24 hours.
If your order has already been shipped, or is received and you no longer wish to keep it, unfortunately the return cannot be accepted.
If your shipping tracking information states that your item has been received by the selected carrier and is delayed/not delivered, you will have to file a claim with the carrier. Unfortunately, once the package left one of our facilities, we no longer have control over it, but we will assist with providing any documentation to assist you with your claim.
Please notify us via email (info@honestherbstore.com) as soon as possible, as most of our orders are shipped within 24 hours. If your order has already been shipped, you will have to create a new order using the correct address.
If your item(s) are returned for this reason, you will have to pay the shipping fee again. Because the item has gone through the shipping process, we are unable to use the same shipping label and will need to create a new one.
We are not responsible for anything caused by the shipping carrier, but we will assist you with providing documentation to file a claim. If your item is received open (powder spilling out of the bag) or your capsules cracked, we will replace the item free of charge.
Refunds/Returns
We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return with a valid reason.
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to refund an item simply because you changed your mind.
Refunds are mainly issued in cases where the transaction was fraudulent, and we are contacted by the cardholder’s bank or there was an error on our part.
All other refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at: info@honestherbstore.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
